bohol weekend
just got back from bohol with sunburns all over. tiring pero enjoy naman. our stay could have been better if not for the lousy accomodation we had. yun lang ata ang hotel na nakita ko na nang aaway ng guest. haaaay! ang bad! mahina ang aircon, mahina ang water, maalat ang water sa sink, may tuko sa loob ng room!!!!! hay!
enuf of the bad part. dun tayo sa good parts, which more important. bohol is really a nice place. malinis. lahat ng cr sa lahat ng lugar a pinuntahan namin malinis, may tubig at mabango. hats off ako sa kanila sa aspect na to. friendly pa sila. my friend lost her earing, and the locals helped us. my friend gave up looking for her earings pero sila, naghahalukay pa rin sa sand. a little girl found her earings so everybody was very happy.
ang daming activities!!!! Paglapag pa lang ng plane namin, (Cebu Pacific. We arrived ahead of schedule. YEHEY!) naghihintay na sa amin ang bus para sa aming trip around bohol. First stop, the blood compact commemorative site. Nothing much here, except that there is an awesome view of the Loboc River behind the commemorative statues.
next stop, ang mga cute na TARSIERS. cute talaga sila. small, furry, with big eyes. kaya lang, takot ako sa kanila inspite of their cuteness. nakaka awa lang kasi tulog yung mga tarsier pero ginigising nila. tarsiers are nucturnal animals, so sa gabi sila gising. pero domesticated sila kaya nakakapit lang sila sa mga maliliit na puno habang natutulog at masayang pinapanood ng mga kasama namin sa trip. sobrang cute nila habang nakapikit at nakakunot ang noo. pero mas cute pag dilat na dilat ang malalaki nilang mga mata. nakakagulat lang when they go jumping from one tree to the other. may napansin lang ako.... kamukha nila yung kakilala ko. hahahahaha!
after that, LOBOC RIVER CRUISE naman. we had our lunch over the boat while cruising the Loboc River and serenaded by community locals. ito ang totoong masarap na buhay! masarap ang hangin habang kumakain ng masarap na pagkain. at in fairness, magaling din kumanta yung local girl. i was concerned na baka hindi ma-appreciate ni bobby yung cruise. alam kong madali syang mahilo. nainis na nga ata sa kakatanong ko kung ok lang sya. pero i was happy na he enjoyed it, at hindi sya nahilo. buti nalang :) so we enjoyed the beauty that the river has to offer. the river was calm with lush greens and beautiful nipa huts along its side. may mga young locals din na nagpapasikat while our boat is passing by. they will climb tall buko trees as soon as they learn that a boat would pass by. then, they would jump on the river midway the tree with the help of a rope. maglalambitin muna sila sa rope ala-tarzan bago bumagsak sa tubig. ang cute! hehe. i would really love to do this cruise again.
we, ofcourse went to the famous CHOCOLATE HILLS. Ganda! Inakyat namin yung isa sa chocolate hills. nakalimutan ko na kung ilang steps yun dahil sobrang taas, basta alam ko more than 100 steps yun! nakakaloka! but the hike was worth it.
to be continued...
